Big Boss, or head honcho, has a love for nature and outdoor activities. Jungle trekking and camping are a few of the things he loves to do most. An Irishman and lover of sports, Ronan is also a founder member the Orang Eire Gaelic Football team here in Malaysia and has even played against teams from Japan, Dubai and Hong Kong.
Having lived and taught in Malaysia for over 15 years, he is well acquainted with the local environs and enjoys finding innovative ways to help students develop themselves.
Meet our resident musician, India McKellar. Born in Sheffield, United Kingdom, she clearly loves music and enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing, skating, and cycling. India brings a wealth of experience to Malaysia, having taught for 15 years in schools in England, most notibly at Sheffield United Football Club's Academy.
India has a degree in Combined Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, CELTA, and an MA in Writing.
Born in St. Helens, near Manchester, Andrew is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of satay and beef rendang. Having taught for over six years, Andrew brings a holistic approach to his classroom and loves to help his students do the best they can and improve not just academically, but also holistically.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts in Film, TV and Cultural Studies as well as a PGCE (Level 5) which gives him a unique perspective in teaching and sharing ideas.
Hailing from Scotland, Steve enjoys reading, long walks on the beach, and baking. A travelling soul, he has visited 23 out of the 28 European Union countries as well as several Asian countries. He considers himself a local, and enjoys eating at home, however when he does go out he enjoys Swedish Puzzini Pizza.
Steve’s early career was in the IT sector before he discovered his passion for teaching and sharing ideas.
Coming from Perth, Australia, Bernadette is a lover of sporting activities such as swimming and rock climbing. Bernadette is a busy bee with a love for travel. Also fluent in Spanish and French, she is a polyglot and expert in language. A dedicated mother of four, Bernadette enjoys spending quality time with her kids. With a cheery personality, Bernadette is dedicated to making sure her students are provided with a supportive and quality learning environment.
In addition to her bachelor’s degree, Bernadette has a Post Graduate certificate in Primary Education.
Lauren is a gym and pilates lover who loves to sing and eat roti canai (not at the same time). Lauren is delighted to return to Malaysia having lived here for a year in 2014. Born in London, UK, she has travelled the world delivering educational courses to professional bodies. Lauren is a very friendly and active teacher who loves to engage her students with her enthusiasm.
Lauren has a BA Hons Drama & Communication Studies and a CELTA.
